Important Notes
- A 7% Lodging Tax is required by the State of Maine
- A security deposit against damages is required on each vacation rental home property, and will be returned 10 days from the date of departure.
- A utility deposit to cover long distance phone calls is required when a long distance block is not in place. The deposit is held for 65 days beyond departure.
- A payment of 1/3 the total lease amount is required as an initial rent deposit.
- Final payment is due two weeks prior to arrival.
- A map with the vacation rental home phone number and directions on where to find the keys will be mailed only when final payment has been received.
- Vacation rental homes are fully equipped, including linens.
- Vacation rental homes are rented on a Saturday to Saturday weekly schedule, with arrival after 3PM and departure no later than 10AM. Basic cleaning at time of departure is covered by the rental rate unless specifically noted in the lease.
- Pets are allowed only with property owner permission, and any such allowances must be noted in the lease.
- The majority of the vacation rental homes are non-smoking, as will be indicated in the lease.
