The Stewart Cottage is a two-story duplex (the right side) which has been in the Stewart family for over 100 years. It served as lodging for servants of the large estates in Bar Harbor. Because of it's fantastic location,it can be used as a central hub from which to base a wide array of activities; within a short walk is the famous Shore Path along the Bay, the parks, shopping & restaurant district of Bar Harbor, the free shuttle bus service that serves the entire island and Acadia National Park and other points of interest.
